When we arrived at this hotel there was a bunch of garbage outside the entrance area. Aside from the garbage, there was also several homeless men standing outside smoking and a few more riding their bikes around the property. Being a woman alone in a strange area with my hound child I did not feel safe to get out of my vehicle. After leaving the property I called the hotels front desk to explain the situation and they only response she had for me was I had no reason to feel unsafe and she walks to work everyday without any incidents. She went on to further explain I would not receive a refund as it was not a 24 hour notice. I will never book a hotel through this site again not will I ever recommend or stay and a La Quinta again. The hotel wouldn’t even take responsibility for the questionable characters they have hanging out on their property let alone begin to understand my fear nor refund my $120 I payed.

The room was really clean. The refrigerator and microwave were a plus. The security concerned me as the side door was always unsecured. I did not have to use my key to enter the property. The door to my room did not open unless I jiggled the handle up and down.

Location, was close to all the places we visited the only problem we had was with the key cards did not want to work on our room door.
