La vista restaurant was terrible , including the front desk but beside that rest of the staff was good. Best was the restaurant at the beach. We ate breakfast and dinner most of the time due to friendly staff and view of course

Be aware of the check in process-it’s time share and they have their own app on the tablet that they store you personal info- name, passport number under the pretense this is check in. The buffet was disappointing- burnt, dried up food. The Italian fine dining was chef boyarde not fine at all. The Brazilian and seafood were the only good ones. The taco shack was good too. To make reservations it’s daily from 9 am and better to do it exactly at 9am, be aware construction is still going on rooms are being remodeled 8:30am-3:00pm on our floor 6 rooms were being worked on noise was unbearable. To get a lounge chair by any of the pools set your alarm for 6:00am, by 7 they are all taken. Staff is nice but food is nothing to write home to about, loud construction, one day no AC and you can’t set the temperature. No shampoo, conditioner when we checked in, towels were stained. EXTREMELY over priced convenience store. The bars appeared to be well stocked. Will go back to Cancun but will not stay here again.

This property is small and convenient. It is not a loud, party-going, tons of drinking type of hotel. It was laid back; the staff was friendly and helpful. The dining options were good. You have to make reservations for the 3 restaurant options the day off and starting at 9am because the seating is limited. They give you an app for the phone and it should allow you to book reservations via the app but ours wasn't working. It was no big deal, we just went to the hotel concierge and he would book the reservations for us. The buffet was clean and had a good selection of food options. Definitely try the Mexican coffee they serve. It's delicious. Our room was clean and comfortable. This is by no means a mega resort with a lot of things to do here. They will book excursions for you and help you find all the entertainment you want. This is a nice, small, clean hotel with helpful staff. It was worth the price we booked it for and I would reccomend it to anyone looking for a small, easy going hotel with great staff. Also, the guests took Karaoke night very seriously! It was a great event, staff made it really fun and everyone had a great night singing and dancing out by the pool. They hosted some fun events that are regularly scheduled and optional and free to attend. We would gladly return.

5*. I would give 10* if I could. We had an amazing time. I would travel to this same property every year. The food was great, huge variety at the buffet. Davinci had great Italian food. Great customer service, fun pool party, breathtaking view if the ocean, 24 hr room service, clean pools, all you can eat & drink, beautiful beach, more than enough pool chairs, comfortable beds. There is not one thing to complain about. Stay at this hotel. You will love it & feel SAFE.
