What I did not like was being ignored as a guest. Treated differently for whatever reason. Also when I told about the spider/ spiders in my room and the other flying insects- it was not handled

Check in staff was completely by himself with 8 people in line. He really did the best he could with a smile. Our room on the other hand was small and dirty. Rug was dirty and sticky with dark stains all over. We found hair on the bathroom floor and mold in the grout all over the shower. With all the hotels in Chicago i definitely would not stay there again.

After first night, we had to switch rooms given the our neighbors next to us were loud and obnoxious until 3:30am. No where on the website or in the room or at check in, are you told that you have to ask for room upkeep or cleaning. When I asked, I was told by a very surly woman at the desk "you have to ask for that 24 hours in advance. Every time I was at the check in desk, there was someone else complaining about the service and cleanliness of the hotel. I will never return and certainly not recommend this place to anyone I know, In fact I will warn them about staying there. Clearly you are understaffed and the management is not interested in customer service.

I was so disappointed about the Warwick Allerton. I chose this property because I hosted an event there years ago and all was good. This time, I found in the bathroom stains that looked like blood and long hair on the wall. I reported this to the front desk and was promised a manager would contact me. That never happened. At check-out, I brought the situation back and I was assured that a manager would contact me. That has not happened either. I will never stayed in this property again and recommend other not to do either.
