Our flight 10mins delayed, asked to get a taxi at night,where I was new to the place. I had to argue to get a help. At midnight looking for water, none of the vending machine had water, receoptionist asked us to go and get water from the gas station. The security person was kind enough to pick us up from air port and take us to the gas station to get water. Only one towel, no light in the wash area. We were not comfortable to bring this matter because we didn't want to have another argument, Totally we were quiet disappointed with this stay.

At one time, this was obviously a stellar property. The whole area around the hotel has an dirty, unkempt air. The interior of the hotel is clean and our room was in very nice condition, the linens and towels spotless. The staff was courteous, but there was only one clerk handling front desk. As busy as this hotel is, at least two people are needed.

It was adequate, felt "shabby", internet unstable, no extra blankets, no kleenex, no extra toilet paper. A little scary to arrive at Bart Coliseum and not have shuttle for 20 minutes. The girl at the front desk had her plate full and did a good job with the resources she was dealing with, but it seems like she needed more help. Good for what it was, a convenience to the airport, but wouldn't want to stay there again.

Staying in Oakland is questionable. Hotel is clean, and I felt safe. Very convenient for our early AM flight.
